Historical vault

Another location worth seeing is to be seen under earth – our grotto. This is a vault that was probably built around the founding of the city in the 12th and 13th century. We re-decorated it and established a rustic wine and beer cave for up to 30 persons, where you can find recreation in relaxing atmosphere.

Furthermore, one can still see a piece of an old wooden water conduit dating back to the time of the vault’s construction, discovered in the process of reconstruction in 1992.

The room can be rented for all kinds of events. You can also visit it on a Saturday since the room is opened weekly from May until September, at 9 p.m.; in the winter season at 8 p.m.
